Middle School Ministry
Middle school is a time of rapid brain growth, similar to what children experience as toddlers, that enables kids to think more abstractly. They begin to understand multiple perspectives and think critically about themselves and others. We believe the best way to make students feel known is through the small group. Small groups at Charity are led by teams of volunteers who are dedicated to helping the next generation grow into their own faith.
Students need to know that God can rebuild a story even when things haven’t gone according to the plan. They relate to a God who overcomes impossible odds to rebuild what is broken, bring stability, restore peace, resolve doubt, give hope, and redeem everyone. When they enter a small group that affirms their personal journey, they begin to own their own faith and value a faith community.

It takes an army of Jesus-loving adults to lead the next generation. We think our volunteers are the best and we’d love to talk to you about how you can join our team and make a difference in the lives of middle schoolers.

All volunteers and staff at Charity are required to complete a background check and complete a thorough application process before working with any children. Our volunteers are caring, responsible, and are passionate about connecting teens to Jesus.
