We started our fall Amazing Grays off with a gathering at FOMO 10/40 Creamery, with 48 people meeting for ice cream. Now, we invite our Amazing Gray members back on September 8 for a supper meal and a visit from Andrew Hershey, for a presentation from his recent mission trip. Andrew took eight young adults with him to Brazil to serve and share the love of Jesus. After his presentation he will open the conversation. Please come with questions for Andrew.

Our lives are noisy. Phones buzz. Calendars fill. News alerts arrive. Responsibilities compete for our attention. Even when the world around us becomes quiet, our minds often keep racing.
Sometimes what we need most is simply to stop. To step away from the noise. To breathe. To listen. To pray. To remember that God is present—and that we are fully known and fully loved by God.
This fall, Prayer & Presence is being refreshed as a simple, 30-minute weekly gathering centered on prayer, Scripture, and guided meditation—a sacred space where we become still before God and bring before him the needs of our lives, our church, our community, and our world.
CAN’T MAKE IT TO CHURCH? JOIN US REMOTELY.
Prayer & Presence extends beyond the walls of the church. Whether you are traveling, homebound, caring for children, working late, at the gym, or simply unable to be at church, you can join us remotely and pray alongside the gathered community. Wherever you are, we can pause together and pray.
THIRTY MINUTES. ONCE A WEEK. There are 10,080 minutes in a week. We’re setting aside just 30 to intentionally become still before God.
Thirty minutes. Once a week. A quiet space in a noisy world.
Outdoor Family Movie Night
Come one, come all and get together for an Outdoor Family Movie Night on Friday, September 18 at 7:30 p.m. at the home of Mark and Liz Landis. Snacks and beverages will be provided. End of Summer Worship Celebration
Please join us at Charity for our End of Summer worship celebration. Following worship, we will have a potluck as well as games for the kids. The fun continues at the Super Slide Amusement Park from 3-5 p.m. Please check your emails for all the details or call us at 258-1228.

All students and education staff, along with parents are invited to attend worship on Sunday, August 16. Pastor Emmanuel Jackson will offer a special blessing to surround the new school year in prayer.

Prayer is not the privilege of the spiritually accomplished, nor a practice reserved for those who have attained a certain stature or status. Prayer begins in a deeper place—in the longing of the human heart to dwell in the presence of our Maker and loving Lord.
Prayer & Presence is for everyone. Whether you are taking your first steps into prayer or have spent years cultivating a life shaped by prayer, you are welcome here.
Each week, we will gather around Scripture to listen, to breathe, and to entrust our lives, our church, and our community to God. There is space for silence, for guided prayer, and for holding one another before God. You are never required to pray out loud, and you are never expected to have the right words. The Spirit meets us even when words fall short.
And presence matters. Because no matter what you are carrying—joy or grief, clarity or confusion—you will not be alone. There will always be someone to sit with you, for where two or three are gathered, Christ is in our midst.
Come as you are.
Bring your whole life.
Rest in the presence of the One who already knows you and loves you.
