Adult Ministries
Welcome to Adult Ministries at Charity. Whether you are looking for an ongoing Bible study, a short-term discipleship class, an opportunity to make connections through life groups, interest groups, or hope groups, there is a place for everyone. Our purpose is to help people connect to God through His Word and by building Christ-honoring relationships with others. The result is that we together become the disciples that God has called us to be.
Bible Studies
Bible studies provide an opportunity to explore God’s Word in meaningful ways through regular meetings with other believers. Charity offers a variety of Bible studies, both on and off-campus.
Discipleship Classes
We believe every believer should have opportunities to continually pursue a faithful understanding of the Bible and "be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God” (Colossians 1:9-10, ESV).
Life Groups
We believe that evangelism and discipleship are most effective when they are interwoven into personal relationships. Life Groups provide the environment where these types of relationships are fostered. They provide an opportunity for intimacy, mutual sharing and support, practical love and service, spiritual growth, prayer, and to see real examples of how God is working in our midst.
Hope Groups
Hope groups exist to bring hope to those who are suffering due to choices that they have made or due to to the choices that someone else close to them has made. Hope groups seek to minister to your heart and discover what God desires to do in the midst of what you are walking through.
Hobby Groups
Hobby groups are built around any kind of activity you may enjoy partaking in with others. They provide an opportunity for connection and fellowship with other believers. These groups are self-organized and meet on their own schedules.
Stephen Ministry
Lonely? Sad? Discouraged? Going through a tough time emotionally or spiritually? Struggling with a crisis in life or simply feeling down? Consider letting a Stephen Minister help. A Stephen Minister is trained to listen, care, encourage and pray.
A Stephen Minister will walk alongside you in difficult times. It's confidential and free.
