Dream Teams
The first Charity Lutheran Dream Team was established in June of 2005, in a van, heading west from Chicago on the way home from the Willow Creek Arts Conference in the mind of the Charity Lutheran Church director of worship and music as he listened to a small rag-tag band of dreamers describe their faith, their passions, their desires to communicate the gospel of Christ in new, powerful, relevant and creative ways. The vision was refired in 2009 when a twenty-something team of Charity dreamers attended a Willow Creek Arts Conference and came back with a vision on refiring and engaging the youth in worship.
The Charity Lutheran Dream Teams - dream.
They are involved in dreaming up, planning, organizing, assembling, rehearsing and executing Charity’s W.O.W. worship and other celebration events, such as Rally Sunday, Christmas and Easter as well as whenever the worship leader needs help with other “stuff”. Current Dream Teams' ministries include music, dance, visual arts, multi-media arts (video, PowerPoint), and drama. We’d like to encourage “dreamers” to become a part of our team. We consider it a privilege to be used by God to spread His Good News to all who attend worship events at Charity Lutheran Church. If you are a “dreamer," a big thinker, a self declared “weirdo," an actor, a designer, a “tech-head-love-to-play with-cool-electronic-toys” kind of person, a writer, a singer, we’d love to hear from you.
