A purpose and a place for your gifts 

Charity is a place where anyone can serve the Lord with their gifts and talents. So, what is your gift? Carpentry, landscaping, home visitation, cooking, housecleaning, babysitting, small repairs, monetary help for those in need, or excitement about spreading the Good News to people who have never heard the WORD? 

If you know and/or sense in your heart that there's something more to being a Christian, something real and vital and growing - well, you are absolutely right!

Charity has service projects andsmall groups begun by lay people just like yourself - join one, get involved.  Or start a ministry using your unique talents! If you are just sitting in a pew and watching "church" go by on Sundays and Wednesdays, you're missing out of something rare and precious: being IN the body of Christ, His church. You are part of His church. Step outside of the normative "to do's" of belonging to a church and take a dive into the essentials:  The Word, The Gospel, The Freedom of truly knowing Jesus - and FELLOWSHIP.  You have the choice; no church, including Charity, can make that choice for you.

Getting REAL takes time and patience with yourself and with the process. Come to a place in your walk with God where you know that He has gifted you for service - and then choose how to share it. It doesn't do you any good to keep it bottled up.  God wants you to experience the fullness of life!  Call the church office (258-1228) for times and locations.
